Lowestoft man pleads guilty to indecent image offences

The 81 year old is charged with five offences - four of these were for making indecent images of children.

A man from Lowestoft has pleaded guilty to offences relating to making indecent images of children.

81 year old man Joseph Annis of Park Meadows, Lowestoft was charged with five offences - four of these were for making indecent images of children.

Two of these charges related to category B offences (one charges where 58 images were produced and a second charge where one image was produced), one charge related to category C offences (where 60 images were produced) and one of which was a category A offence (where 12 images were produced).

The fifth charge was one offence of possession extreme pornographic images, namely 57 images and 16 videos

He appeared before Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday 18 January to face the charges. He pleaded guilty to all charges and was bailed to appear at Norwich Crown Court for sentencing on a date to be fixed.
