Man jailed for over five years for drug dealing in Downham Market
It's after officers seized 1kg of cocaine after searching a vehicle earlier this year
A man has been jailed for over five years for drug dealing offences in Downham Market.
29 year old Charles Harris, of Outwell Road in Emneth, admitted to possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, namely cocaine, at Norwich Crown Court.
He was arrested on September 2 by officers who stopped his vehicle, finding 1kg of cocaine.
Two mobile phones were also seized along with cash, while a further three phones were discovered at Harris' home address.
He will serve five years and seven months behind bars.
Investigating officer, DC Charlotte Bunting said: “Our officers are working every day to challenge and disrupt those who choose to distribute drugs in Norfolk.
“This sentence serves as a reminder to those who may wish to involve themselves in criminal activity, that as a police force, we will not allow it.”
