Lowestoft man jailed for almost six years drug offences

He was convicted of being involved in the supply of Ketamine

A man has been jailed for over five years and eleven months for drug dealing offences.

Ryan Latham aged 32 and of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of drugs possession of ketamine and possession of two mobile phones in prison.

Latham was initially arrested in 2021 on Yarmouth Road in Lowestoft and subsequently found to be concealing cannabis and cocaine within his underwear when searched at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre.

Suffolk Police stated:

"The arrests and investigation was led by the Sentinel team. These three teams across the south, west and eastern areas of the county provide enhanced coverage of Suffolkā€™s road network to proactively disrupt serious and organised criminal activity as well as increase police visibility.

"The mobile unit disrupts criminals and protects communities across Suffolkā€™s road network using a variety of techniques to deal with offenders involved."
