Man in critical condition in hospital after A47 crash

A man is seriously injured in hospital after being hit by two cars during a police stop last night on the A47.
The incident happened at appoximately 10:11pm, after officers pulled a vehicle over at Hockering.
The driver, in his 30s, was involved in a collision with two cars in the carriageway.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and has since been transferred to Addenbrooke's, where he remains in a critical condition.
The road has reopened after closures at the scene last night.
Norfolk Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct and the regulator will now investigate the circumstances of what happened.
There's an appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
