Man gets head injury in Norwich fight

A man has been arrested, after an assault in Norwich, during the early hours of this morning (4 December 2025).

Police were called to reports of two men fighting in the Rose Lane area at 4.17am.

The victim, a man in his 40s sustained a head injury and was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning where he remains.

A police cordon remains on scene.
