Man facing manslaughter charges after Thorpe Market death

It comes after a fight on Station Road last year

A 47 year old man is facing manslaughter charges in connection with a death in Thorpe Market last year.

Police were called to Station Road on September 17 2021 to reports of a fight close to the Suffield Arms pub.

A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, where he later died.

Roland Wiles, of Mill Street, Gimingham, Norwich has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on 16 September 2022.
