Man dies in a Norwich house fire

Police are investigating a house fire in Norwich after a man in his 50s was found dead inside.

Officers were called just after 9.40am on Tuesday 2nd February to assist Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service following a report of a house fire on Langley Walk.

A man was found dead inside the property.

Police say the death is being treated as unexplained and a cordon remains in place while officers work out the circumstances leading up to the fire.
