Man dies after getting injured on River Bure
Police say they're liaising with the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) about a joint investigation.
Officers were called to help the ambulance service just after 2pm yesterday, 15th September, following reports a man was injured on the River Bure at Clink Hill, West Caister.
They were joined by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, the Coastguard and RNLI.
The man from North Yorkshire, aged in his 20s, was taken to the James Paget Hospital with serious injuries and later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital.
He died there late last night and the Coroner's office and MAIB have been informed.
