Man charged with stealing from Sprowston shop and threatening person with knife
It's alleged he threatened a member of the public who confronted him
A man has been charged after an incident in January, during which alcohol was taken from a supermarket in Sprowston and a member of the public was threatened with a knife.
It happened at a store on Blaxter Way on January 10. The suspect, who was followed out of the shop by a member of the public, pulled a knife out once confronted.
Thomas Grady, aged 36, of Camborne Close, Norwich, has been charged with theft from a shop and threatening a person with a blade.
He's been released on bail ahead of an appearance at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on June 27.
