Police say a man's been charged in connection with the murder of Linda Hood in Gorleston earlier this month.

Paul Kelly-Bride, who's 58 and from Worcester Way, has been charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life, following an investigation by the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team.

It comes after 68 year-old Linda Hood was found dead in her property on Cherwell Way on Friday 11 June.

Kelly-Bridle appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court today (30 June) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court tomorrow (1 July).

Meanwhile, police have confirmed no further action will be taken against a second man arrested in connection with Linda's death.
