Man charged after stabbing in Taverham

A man has been charged after a stabbing in Taverham over the weekend.

40 year old Sanjay Morrison, of no fixed address, will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today accused of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public.

A man in his 20s suffered stab wounds to his hands, ear and stomach in the early hours of Sunday.

He was found by paramedics at the junction of Reepham Road and Drewray Drive and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment.

A 29 year old man has been released without charge.
