Man arrested in connection with cannabis find in Lowestoft

Police have arrested a man in connection with drug offences in Lowestoft.
If follows an incident today (26 April) in the town on Yarmouth Road where police had reason to conduct a vehicle stop.
A black Vauxhall Astra was stopped with all the occupants searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act with a quantity of cannabis discovered on one of the occupants of the vehicle.
A 34 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and on suspicion of failing a drug driving test and he was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
