Man admits manslaughter over Shipdham death

A man has admitted manslaughter following the death of a woman in Shipdham two years ago.
Malgorzata Lechanska was found with severe head injuries at a property back in August 2021.
Police were initially called to reports of a concern for safety, emergency services attended but, sadly, a woman in her 30s was pronounced dead by paramedics.
A post mortem examination established she died of a severe head injury.
41-year-old Rafal Winiarski, of Lake Close in Shipdham was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Yesterday, he pleaded guilty to manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility at Norwich Crown Court
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced in 2024.
