Lorry driver dies in hospital after 'medical episode' at the wheel caused him to crash into Thetford roundabout

Police are appealing for witnesses after a lorry driver died following a crash last month.

The man in his 60s was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by ambulance after the collision on the A11 near Thetford on Friday 25 April.

The lorry was travelling northbound at 5.09pm when it left the road and came to a stop on the roundabout with the A1075.

Emergency services treated the driver, who was found unresponsive in the cab following a suspected medical episode. He died in hospital today (2 May).

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
