Happisburgh RNLI carried out operations over two days - helping look for a vulnerable missing person in the area.

On Thursday (11 September) HM Coastguard informed the Happisburgh station that a vulnerable person was missing and a car with keys in it had been found in a car at Happisburgh car park.

Their search started at 11:30am.

Nothing was found and the lifeboat was stood down by the Coastguard at 1.30 pm.

Their search then resumed on Friday at 18:30pm.

They report that "The water was very low so some of the search had to be done by foot on the inside of the reefs while the boat went round the outside. "

After 4 hours of searching the crew returned to station at 10.30 pm.
