Former King's Lynn Stars captain Lewis Kerr is to return to the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday, as he makes a guest appearance against Peterborough Panthers.

He's stepping in for the Premiership fixture in place of current skipper Josh Pickering, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.

Kerr, who currently races for the Oxford Cheetahs in the Championship, also plans to practice in Poland over the weekend.

He will race on Sunday, before re-joining Stars at Peterborough on Monday.

Stars have had a tough start to the season, losing three of their four Premiership fixtures so far and also facing several weeks away from competition due to the weather.
