Speedway: Tough night for King's Lynn Stars after 60 - 30 Sheffield defeat
Boss Alex Brady says he's now looking at changes behind the scenes to lift Stars' after a poor start to the season
It was another difficult night on the road for King's Lynn Stars, with the team suffering a heavy 60 - 30 defeat at Sheffield.
Stars were without Krzysztof Kasprzak, who'd phoned in sick, and were hoping for a boost in the form of returning skipper Josh Pickering.
However Pickering was forced to withdraw after just two races having aggravated his shoulder injury.
Boss Alex Brady says he's now looking at changes behind the scenes after a run of poor form.
He said: “We came here tonight believing we had a good chance - but unfortunately we had too many passengers.
“We didn’t perform as well as we should’ve done, we were beaten by by far the better side and it’s difficult to take too many positives from that, it was just a terrible night really.
“We need a lift and we need it quickly.
“Hopefully over the coming few days we’ll get the lift that we need, both on and off the track, with some positive news because I’m not prepared to let the season peter out.”
