King's Lynn Stars rider Frederik Jacobsen quits racing in UK
The Dane has struggled for form this season
King's Lynn Stars rider Frederik Jacobsen has decided to quit racing in the UK after struggling for form this season in the Premiership.
The Dane joined Stars at the tail end of last season, having previously raced in the UK for Poole Pirates.
He had a strong start to the season racing against Wolverhampton and Peterborough, but his form has since slumped. He now has a league average of around 5.
Stars will used rider-reiplacement tonight against Wolverhampton, with Nicolai Klindt taking over as captain.
The club says it wishes Klindt "all the best for the future".
