The King is expected to visit Norwich today.

His Majesty will open the Priscilla Bacon Lodge hospice, which is a state-of-the-art palliative care unit that's been specially designed to allow patients to enjoy the surrounding landscape.

It was designed working in partnership with the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.

King Charles will spend time with patients receiving end-of-life care, alongside their families.

He'll also meet volunteers, nurses and other NHS staff based at the Hospice, and visit the Hospice’s therapy garden, which enables patients to enjoy the Lodge’s outside space.

A plaque will also be unveiled to mark the official opening of the hospice.

King Charles previously visited the hospice at its former site back in 2012, when he was still Prince of Wales.
