A coroner has found that a mum from Norfolk died because paramedics and hospitals in the area were under extensive pressure - and couldn't get to her in time.

Julie Hurn, who was 43 and from Attleborough, died of a blood clot which stopped stopped her heart in July 2022, while she was waiting for an ambulance.

During the inquest, coroner Yvonne Blake told the court that Julie made several calls for an ambulance, telling them that she was experiencing chest pains.

Her first call was made just before 3:30pm on 7th July 2022 but it took paramedics an hour and a half to arrive.

Medical experts had said, if the 43-year-old had been treated quicker, her life would likely have been saved.

Julie's family say she's been let down.

Health bosses say emergency services were under "extreme pressure" when she called.
