Dean Smith has confirmed forward Josh Sargent is a doubt for Norwich City ahead of tomorrow night's game against Crystal Palace.

The American sat out the Canaries FA Cup victory over Wolves at the weekend after becoming ill during the warm up.

However, midfielder Lukas Rupp is set for a return, as is Andrew Omobamidele this weekend.

Ozan Kabak is out ill.

Speaking to the Norwich City website, head coach Dean Smith said:

"We believed that we had a good squad and we believed that we could be competitive, but winning breeds confidence.

"We have got players pushing each other in training. We have got players coming back from illness and injury and the squad is looking a lot healthier now.

"The strength of our squad now is probably what pleases me most. There are good players now looking to get into the team, if you are not playing well. It is difficult for me to pick my best XI."

The Canaries are sat just outside of the Premier League relagation zone after two back to back victories. Tomorrow's opponents sit in 13th.
