Jonathan Rowe has been named as Norwich City's Etty Smith Young Player of the Season for 2023/24.

The 20-year-old has had a breakthrough season at Carrow Road, scoring 12 goals in 30 Championship appearances so far.

He made his senior debut for the club in December 2021, featuring against Crystal Palace. His first start came on the opening day of the 2023/24 season at home to Hull City, where he marked the occasion with his first goal for the club.

Rowe earned his debut for the England Under-21s this season, as well as being named as the EFL’s Young Player of the Month for August.

Upon winning the award, Rowe said: "It's a good feeling. I've obviously seen that Liam Gibbs won it last season, and he had a great season. It's an honour to win it. It's named after Delia's mum, and that makes it even more honourable.

"I kind of knew what I was capable of, from previous seasons. It was just about getting that opportunity to show it, and thanks to the manager for believing in me. He's given me the opportunity to showcase myself to the world, and thankfully it's paid off!"
