Police have launched a witness appeal after a serious crash on the A140 in Swainsthorpe, which closed the road for much of today (November 15).

Officers were called to close to the junction with Church Road at around 9:50am, after a collision between three vans and a car.

The fire service and air ambulance were also at the scene.

One of the drivers, a man in his 50s, was seriously injured and taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Two other drivers suffered minor injuries and were treated as a precaution.

There's an appeal for any witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage at the scene to come forward.
