Motorcyclist dies after A140 crash in Norfolk

The road was closed for over seven hours

A man has died following a crash on the A140 Cromer Road in Hevingham.

Officers say they were called at 2.09pm on Saturday (9th August).

The road was then closed until around 9.20pm whilst emergency services attended.

A Norfolk police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on Saturday 9th August.

"The collision happened at 2.09pm, on the A140 Cromer Road, when a Black Vauxhall Astra collided with a white and black Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 motorbike.

"The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, sadly died at the scene.

"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels, quoting reference NC-09082025-263"
