A Norfolk community is pulling together as a man's home looks set to collapse into the sea.

The home's located in Hemsby, an area which has been suffering from huge amounts of coastal erosion.

We spoke to the owner of the home, Lance, just yesterday.

He told us how he'd lost part of his back garden due to erosion: "On Friday we had the building inspector around and he measured my back garden and we had fiver metres of garden.

"We came back on Saturday morning and we had a metre left - and I lost a shed."

Now, part of the road has collapsed, leaving Lance's home at risk of collapsing into the sea at any point.

There are also concerns that, if the road collapses entirely, another 24 homes will be cut off and at risk of permanent damage.

Police are on the scene and the local community is rallying around Lance and others affected to help them out however they can.

Police on the scene in Hemsby

This comes after three properties in Hemsby had to be destroyed at the weekend because of the damage caused by high spring tides.
