A man in his 30s has been arrested, after a man in his 40s was found with lacerations to his head in a property in Great Yarmouth.
Armed police were sent to Wellesley Road at 8.25am this morning (13th January).
The injured man is being treated at the James Paget Hospital for serious injuries, Norfolk Constabulary said.
A statement added: "A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH. He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains.
"A cordon is in place while investigations take place."
