A bridge in Great Yarmouth will be shut overnight for a week.

Haven Bridge will be closed each night between 8pm and 6am until next Wednesday (30th November).

It's to allow testing of a new control system that's been installed as part of bridge upgrades.

Traffic will be diverted via A1243 Pasteur Road, A47 Western Bypass, A149 Acle New Road and B1141 North Quay.

During the closures free shuttle buses will be provided to carry pedestrians from one side of the bridge to the other.

The buses will also be capable of carrying bicycles and mobility scooters.

The shuttle bus stops are located at the Stonecutters Car Park on the east side of the bridge and the Matalan bus stop on the west side.

The bridge is expected to re-enter normal operation by the end of the year.
