A man in Norfolk has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault, possession of a bladed weapon, and criminal damage.

Police were called to reports of an assault at a property in Great Yarmouth yesterday (27 December) evening.

The incident happened just after 7pm when police were called to reports that a man had assaulted two women in Crittens Road and was carrying a knife.

The road was closed at both ends whilst police dealt with the incident. It was later resolved and a man in his 50s was taken to the James Paget Hospital for treatment before being arrested.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
