A Gorleston man has been jailed for 15 months after being convicted of a domestic assault last October.
Police were called to reports of a domestic incident at a house, during which a woman was attacked. A second woman was punched in the face, losing three front teeth.
David Rainey, of no fixed address, was arrested on November 10 2022, in connection with the incident on October 28.
He was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court after admitting to causing grievous bodily harm without intent, causing actual bodily harm and common assault.
Norfolk Police Sergeant Steven Lee said: “This was a particularly brutal attack on both women and these kinds of incidents can have profound and long-lasting impact as well as the physical damage caused."
"This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and we hope that a prison sentence will help to reassure victims. We would like to thank both women for coming forward.”
