Ghostbusters and Cinderella cast descend on Norwich shopping centre
People out doing Christmas shopping could try on a proton pack while chatting to a mouse from Cinderella.
Visitors to Castle Quarter shopping centre in Norwich today will be able to take part in two events.
One will celebrate the release of the latest Ghostbusters film, and the other will treat families to a Cinderella pantomime.
A replica of the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 car drive into the shopping centre.
The vehicle is one of the most iconic cars from the movies and a well-recognised symbol for the Ghostbusters franchise. Ghostbuster fans can take a selfie with the car from 11am to 3pm, on Level 1 of the shopping centre.
Another attraction for the fans will be meeting Slimer, who will be visiting on a dining trolley.
Shoppers will also be able to try on the upgraded Proton Packs and Containment Unit.
The guest appearance of Ecto-1 car and Slimer comes at the perfect time, as the latest Ghostbusters film is arrived in UK cinemas this week.
The second event will see visitors meet the stars of Cinderella Rocks pantomime, which is a festive co-production by The Garage in Norwich and All-In Productions. The family pantomime will include characters such as Ella (Cinderella), her sisters and two mice.
The pantomime will take place from 10am to 1pm on Level 1 of the Castle Quarter shopping centre. Young children aged up to 7 years old can join the live performance.
Sarah Smith, Castle Quarter Operations Manager, said: "Children will be encouraged to join in with the characters and the pantomime, so coming into the shopping centre here and seeing them up and close in person would be a great experience for the families this Saturday."
