Former Norfolk headteacher jailed for breaching restraining order

A former headteacher from Norfolk has been jailed for six months for breaching a restraining order.
Gregory Hill, who's 49 and of Valley Way, Fakenham, was sentenced at Norwich Magistrates' Court today (Monday 20 January) after pleading guilty to two counts of breaching a restraining order issued to him in August 2024.
He was sentenced to six months imprisonment for each count, to run concurrently.
The breaches related to the posting of photographs on social media which he was prohibited from doing under the order.
Following sentencing Chief Inspector Chris Banks said: “Restraining orders are put in place to protect victims and prevent further offending.
"Breaching these conditions can carry severe consequences and I hope today’s sentence offers some reassurance that we will take robust action when the terms of these orders are not being adhered to.”
