Five charged with affray after two stabbed in Thetford

A group of people were seen fighting on Guildford Way in March.

Four men and a teenage boy have been charged following an affray in Thetford.

The incident happened on the 22nd March where a group of people were seen to be fighting on Guildford Way, Thetford. Two people suffered stab wounds which required hospital treatment.

The following five people have been charged with:

  • Jakub Kosciewicz, 18 and of Guildford Way, Thetford was charged with affray. He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on 16 April 2025 and pleaded guilty. He has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance.
  • Arnas Omelevisius, 18 and of Gloucester Way, Thetford was charged with affray. He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on 16 April 2025 and pleaded guilty. He has been released on conditional bail until his next court appearance.
  • Fikret Solmaz, 19 and of Castle Street, Thetford was charged with affray. He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on 16 April 2025 and pleaded guilty. He has been released on conditional bail until his next court appearance.
  • Kenzie Fetherby, 18 and of Edinburgh Way, Thetford was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article. He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court on 29 March 2025 where he was further remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 28 April 2025.
  • A 17-year-old, who cannot be named due to his age, was charged with affray. He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court on 16 April 2025 and was released on conditional bail.
