It broke out in a flat

Fire crews have spent nearly two hours tackling a fire in flats in Norwich.

Eight engines from Carrow, Sprowston, Earlham, Hethersett, Wymondham and Loddon attended Princes Street last night (7 June). They were called at 8.49pm.

Everyone evacutated from the building and there are no reports of anyone being hurt.

Five apartments were affected by the flames - firefighters used a fire hydrant, three main jets and hose reel jets and aerial ladders to tackle the blaze.

They returned to their stations at 10.20pm.
