A family of six have been rescued by lifeboat crews after getting their hire boat stuck in the reeds just east of Reedham.
Hemsby Broads Rescue was paged at 20.58 on Thursday night by Humber Coastguard, to assist with the evacuation of a family stuck on the boat.
Due to the tidal conditions and position of the boat, it couldn't be moved and the family couldn't be left on it.
Three crew members went on board to help the family evacuate and moved safely to a nearby rendez vous.
Once reunited the family were taken to Acle where they spent the night.
The boat was recovered by the hire company once tidal conditions allowed.
