The family of a 20 year old man who died in a crash on the A47 near Norwich last year have paid tribute.
Daniel Leathers was seriously injured in the crash on December 1, passing away in hospital on December 5.
Police were called to a collsion between a Vauxhall Corsa and Range Rover Evoque at the junction with Yarmouth Road at around 4:40pm.
Paying tribute, his family said: “Dan was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and most of all a friend. All he wanted in life was to help others, make people laugh and he simply loved life!"
"Dan was in the final year of his engineering apprenticeship and loved to go beating, being happiest when running through a field covered in mud.
"This last year he had lived his best life, watching his beloved Leeds United play football, spending time with his family, clubbing, meeting up with friends for a drink, attending festivals and just having fun.
"Dan was an organ donor and it brings us great comfort to know that he was able to help so many people.
"We will miss his laughter, his sense of humour and his love every day but will be forever grateful for the amazing son and brother we were blessed to call ours.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the emergency services who attended, all who helped at the scene - the NNUH, Critical Care Patient Transfer Team, Transplant Coordinators and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Their care and compassion will never be forgotten.”
