Former royal staff member from Norfolk to receive special award from King Charles III

Norfolk's Lately Lord Great Chamberlain of the Royal Household is to be granted the Knights Grand Cross in the Kings special honours list.

The medal for those who supported the royal family on the demise of Her later Majesty Queen Elizabeth second.

Amongst the lengthy list of medal recipients are the eight pallbearers who carried Queen Elizabeth's coffin during last year's funeral and other service staff .

The late monarch's closest advisor, Angela Kelly and other Royal Household members are to be made members of the Royal Victorian Order.
