England rugby player from Norfolk says they must be disciplined to continue winning ways
Steve Borthwick's men currently sit second in the Six Nations table- after two games
A England rugby player from Norfolk is telling us the team need to be physical and disciplined- if they're going to continue their winning ways
Steve Borthwick's men currently sit second in the Six Nations table- after two games- with England making the away trip to Scotland, next Saturday for their next test
"That's one of our key learning points"
Freddie Steward was born near Dereham and plays at full-back:
"We naturally are very pleased about the first two games- in terms of the results. But discipline has cost us and that's one of our key learning points. That's something that we need to improve further down the line.
"There's a real belief that we can win the Six Nations. We made clear from the start that this was the aim and we've put ourselves in a very good position to achieve that, but we've got three very tough games next.
"Scotland away is always very tough, especially away from home where they've had one up on us across the last few years. We need to get everything right and not be shy of attacking them- along with France and Ireland, when they come".
"Working really hard on adding to my game"
"We have new system of defence- known as blitz defence- it will take us time to adopt that properly and to make sure that it's done effectively.
"For me personally- I've been working really hard on adding to my game. Especially in attacking threat- such as trying to be more effective on the counter-attack and also as a running threat.
