Two arrested after police find cannabis farm in East Harling

Two people have been arrested after a cannabis farm was found by officers in East Harling.

It was fond yesterday (12 December 2023).

A woman in her twenties and a man in his forties have both been arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs, possession of class B drugs, cultivation of cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and have been bailed pending further enquiries until 1 July 2024.

53 cannabis plants and growing equipment were seized during the search at the property on Kenninghall Road, along with a quantity of class A drugs and an extendable baton.
