The East Anglian Air Ambulance is urging more people in Norfolk to learn how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator.
The charity say it can be critical to keeping a person alive until their service can attend the scene of an emergency.
"More people that we can get trained up and confident, means more lives will be saved"
Paige Chamberlain is from the service and says it can save people's lives:
"There is often that apprehension to go in and act. If you don't know that person I guess there's not that compulsion. But the ambulance service will help you through on the 999 call, on exactly what to do- and how to do a 'hands only ' rescue.
"There's stacks and stacks of information around early CPR and defibrillation making the biggest difference to the survivability of cardiac arrest patients. The more people that we can get trained up and confident, means more lives will be saved
"Most by-stander CPR is performed by friends and relatives who were there with the patient at the time of their collapse.
