Driver dies in hospital after crash on A47

A man has died in hospital days after being seriously injured in a crash on the A47 near Norwich.

Police were called to a collsion between a Vauxhall Corsa and Range Rover Evoque at the junction with Yarmouth Road at around 4:40pm on Thursday (December 1).

The Corsa was heading eastbound towards Great Yarmouth and was attempting to turn right towards Blofield.

The Range Rover was travelling westbound along the 50mph zone.

The Corsa driver, a man in his 20s who was seriously injured, passed away in hopsital on Saturday (December 3).

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage in the area at the time to come forward.
