70-year-old knocked out and robbed near Thetford

Police are appealing for any witnesses to help with their investigation

The 70-year-old man was walking his dog in West Harling Woods at around 3.30pm on Sunday 6th December, when he was hit from behind and knocked unconscious.

He suffered facial and head injuries and woke to find his wallet and mobile phone had been stolen.

It happened in the woods near to West Harling Road towards Gasthorpe.

Police say they are increasing patrols in the area and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
