Cyclist seriously injured in crash in Colney

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Colney yesterday (Monday 28 July 2025).

The collision between a Mini Cooper car, a number 21 First Bus and a cyclist happened shortly after 5.40pm, on the Old Watton Road in Colney, near the Spire Hospital and shortly before the junction of the B1108 Watton Road/Earlham Road.

The male cyclist has been taken to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision. They’re particularly keen to speak to any passengers of the number 21 First Bus.
