It temporarily closed back in January.
Last updated 15th Mar 2021
Cromer Minor Injuries Unit is going to be reopening on Monday 29th March.
The unit was temporarily closed back in January so staff could be redeployed to the Emergency Department at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital to help with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Alice Richardson, who's the Emergency Department Matron, praised the team for their support during the peak of the pandemic: "It has been amazing to have the Cromer MIU team with us to cover all our Emergency Nurse Practitioner service and we have not had to supply a doctor to the minor injuries area at NNUH.
"They have also been helping with triage and initial assessment.
"They have been working in their scope of practice working in a different environment and have adapted really well.
"They are all really excited to be getting back to Cromer and reopening the MIU."
