A teenage boy's has been arrested following a fire in the North Norfolk Visitors’ Centre toilets in Cromer.

Police were called to Louden Road just after 8pm on Sunday 22nd October 2023 to assist the Fire Service as they extinguished a fire in the ‘family room’ toilet.

Officers tell us significant damage was caused by the fire.

Following enquiries, a 13-year-old boy was arrested on Monday (23rd October) on suspicion of arson.

He was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has since been released on bail with conditions, while enquiries continue.
