Two charged with burglary and other offences over Cromer incident
There were reports two men barricaded themselves inside a property and made threats to harm themselves and others
Two men have been charged following an incident in Cromer.
Emergency services were called to an address in Warren Court shortly before midday on Saturday 10th February, following reports two men had barricaded themselves inside a property and were making threats to harm themselves and others.
No-one was injured, and the men were arrested at the scene.
They were questioned at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre and charged on Monday (12 February) with multiple offences in relation to the incident.
Alex Peters, aged 27, of Harbour Way, Blakeney was charged with burglary.
Andrew Moss, aged 34, of London Road, Peterborough received seven charges:
• Burglary
• Affray
• Attempted robbery
• Possession of an offensive weapon
• Assault of an emergency worker x2
• Threatening behaviour
The men appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday (12 February 2024), and have been remanded by the courts to custody, to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 11 March 2024.
