Improvements to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital means three conditions of seven have been lifted by the Care Quality Commission.

The trust was previously rated "inadequate" during a 2018 inspection ā€“ its lowest ever rating ā€“and retained this score in 2019 and 2020.

Chief executive of the Kings Lynn hospital Caroline Shaw says the lifting of these measures marked ā€œa really important development".

She went on to say that she's confident the remaining four measures will be lifted by Christmas.
