Child seriously injured after being bitten by two dogs in Norfolk
Police say both dogs will be destroyed
A child has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked by two dogs in Norfolk.
Emergency services were called to an address on Howe Lane, Poringland on Friday 6 October at 9.30am following reports of a child being bitten by two dogs.
In a statement, Norfolk Costabulary, said: Officers attended the scene and the child was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries, where they remain.
"The owner has given the dogs to police and they will be destroyed. Enquiries are ongoing."
It is understood the dogs were the German Shepherd X Dogue de Bordeaux breed.
