Child in 'critical condition' after being found unresponsive at home in Wymondham by family members

We're told the incident is not being treated as suspicious

A child is in a critical condition in hospital after they were found unresponsive at home by family members yesterday (Sunday 6 April 2025).

Officers were called to Rugby Way by the East of England Ambulance Service just before 8.40pm.

A boy received medical treatment at the scene, before being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and then transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

He remains in a critical condition in hospital.

A police cordon has been removed from the property.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident, however, we're told it’s not being treated as suspicious.
