The chairman of a Norfolk bird charity embroiled in a dispute over a worker’s unfair dismissal is to leave his role.

Dr Andrew McCulloch, the chairman of the board of trustees at the Hawk and Owl Trust, will retire from his position this year following a three-year tenure.

Mr Middleton won his case of unfair dismissal and is awaiting to find out if he will receive any compensation for the ordeal.

However, the 70-year-old insists the decision to leave was made before the outcome of the employment tribunal.

He will leave the position in the autumn, having served a three-year term.
