Cars damaged in Belton

More than a dozen were targeted

Police are appealing for information after more than a dozen vehicles in Belton were damaged at the weekend.

Suspect/s slashed the tyres of a red Citroen C1, a silver VW Polo and a white Citroen Nemo Multispace that were all parked in Crofters Walk sometime overnight on Saturday (16 January 2021) and into Sunday (17 January 2021).

In addition, criminal damage on the following vehicles was also reported as happening overnight on Saturday (16 January 2021) and into Sunday (17 January 2021) in Belton:

A tyre was slashed on a Ford Ranger 4x4 vehicle in Orwell Crescent.

The side of a blue Peugeot 207 was scratched in Orwell Crescent.

The side of a silver Kia Sorento car was scratched in Deben Drive.

A tyre was slashed on a silver Honda Civic car in Heather Gardens

A tyre was slashed on a red Suzuki Swift in Heather Gardens.

A tyre was slashed on a blue Kia Rio car in Bracon Road.

A tyre was slashed on a grey Nissan X-Trail in Bracon Road.

A tyre was slashed on a white BMW car in Broome Gardens.

A tyre was slashed on a blue Ford Transit van in Fern Gardens.

A tyre was slashed on a Dacia Sandero car in Rosedale Gardens.

A tyre was slashed on a Volvo C SE 170 car in Rosedale Gardens.

A tyre was slashed on a white Ford Transit van in Amhurst Gardens.

Officers are carrying out patrols in the village and are appealing to residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the areas of Belton in the timeframe stated above, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that could help the investigation is asked to contact PC Steven Crisp at Gorleston Police Station on 101.
